Well, you may want to say what your budget is fella.
I can recommend the obvious.

Electro - Smart parts ion/vibe/XE , SP1, PMR - they are cheap to buy, are reliable and easy to maintain.

Mech - Tippman A5 or X7 - More of a milsim look, reliable and tough as nails

All of what i have suggested will retail for less than £250 ions and PMR's are the cheaper options at less than £120
And if you hang around in the classifieds, you are likely to snap up a real bargain ;)

As for places to play check UKPSF website here: http://www.ukpsf.com/ or other woods or recball affiliated companies such as Go ballistic. Ask around many sites do walk on days where you can take your brand new marker and just pay for green fee and paint.

Best of luck fella!

Hi,

Sadly there are few sites in wales the allow your own kit or do walkons.

The Cenarth site is quite a distance from me.
There is Delta Force in Cardiff that allow you to bring your own kit bar the tank, you must use their CO2 tank.
Task Force in cardiff dont allow you to use your own kit bar a face mask.

Goballistic has a site in Ammanford & Porthcawl, no idea if you can bring your own kit tho.

Ministry of Paintball have a site in Swansea, according to their site you are allowed to take your own kit but I would phone to make sure.

So sadly when it comes to walkons you are abit stuffed.
Closest to you that I know of is Skirmish Bristol that have a walkon on the first Sunday of every month.

I have seen several people in the woods of Task Force using their own guns. Also No Limits train their with a Full Millenium field. Could be worth trying this as its fun and you get better value for money, come along some time and give it a go Rob90 and Reppo Boy, if you do buy an electrical marker don't use CO2 its not greeat for um, I am suprised some sites are still using this!
