new venturi bolt?

hey guys, just curious, WTF difference will a pro-team tippmann venturi bolt do to my Tippmann 98 Custom to make it better? Is it worth changin the bolt? What does this new bolt do? Who sells new bolts? Help me here, just cutious, help me out on this one. thx, leave 1

From what I gather, i dont think a new bolt will really make too much noticeable difference, not until you get up to top level guns, and small increases in performance really matter.

As what for what a venturi bolt is, i think its just a difference type of outlet for the air (i think its got 3 ports so the air hits the ball more evenly - but dont quote me on that).

I look around sometimes for bolts and upgrades for my Piranha, but cant really find anything outside of some of the bigger US stores, but Tippman kit is sold in loads of places, should be easy to get parts for it.

not sure truely about this....one of the more pro players may be able to confirm or deny the next statement....but i seem to remember reading somewhere that one type of bolt face is better at applying air to the back of the ball and therefore reduces the number of breaks (as it is more gentle) and the other type is better for gas efficency.

that's about the size of it, nice and gentle on the balls and better spread of air........ but lower end markers are just too harsh on the paint to make much of a difference....... cheaper markers need tougher paint so it's not going to make much difference.
Anyway...... best mod for you marker is better paint. An extra ten quid on 2000 paintballs will improve performance more than £400 spent on the marker.
