Looks like we might soon be able to buy a viable alternative to electro markers - a mechanical trigger light enough to walk at 16bps....

Video of it here:

It's not some dodgy mangled-sear mod either - apparently this is a true pneumatic design which they've waiting patent approval on. Combine that with level 10 and you get most of the functionality of a top end tournament marker without batteries.

 mother of god

I'm impressed, sorry for being thick but what sort of marker is that? Could the design be transfered on to a Mag of somthing simular? Unfortunatly by removing the evectronics that means your loose the eye, so therefore shooting at those kind of speed reliably is going to have to require somthing like a Halo or a Qloader.

Heh, Qloader on that thing.....totally mechanical 16bps! Fun!

That marker IS an automag :)

It's got a Deadlywind Dallara body (which is why it looks a bit funky) with a X-valve and the trigger mech housed in a modified Intelliframe. Also looks like some kind of LPR acting as a foregrip.

With level 10 you don't even need an eye - the bolt bounces off paint halfway into the breech.

Not yet - the designer is apparently waiting until it's 'protected' (I'm guessing patents rather than large blokes in tuxes) until he releases it.
