If you put it in classic mode and have a decent hopper on it you'll get away without eyes (got a right hand feed with an e1 on it and no eyes, using an Egg 2 it wouldn't chop in classic mode).
If you want to get techincal it is possible to turn the LPR right down so that the ram doesn't bring the bolt forward hard enough to crush a ball, basically turn the LPR down until there isn't enough pressure to recock, then turn it up a smidgin. Then you could have it in any mode you want, even ramping I suppose.
