sounds a bit on the high side if theres no paint involved especially when you compare it to the cost of playing m25 1 day (£210 if paid on time) and heavens gate 2 day (£350 if paid on time) or is just me under valuing things again

Well, M25 events are underpriced at the moment, with Sparklie making a loss every time. However, M25's are a somewhat different situation to most of the rest of UK tournaments, in that they are all held on sports grounds etc rather than paintball sites so the fields have to be set up from scratch every time and just about the biggest cost at each event has been the scaffolding for this.
Standard cost this year for a one-day sup'air event in all the main series works out at £30 per player, including H-Pac fills at M25, MM and S2k3 (not sure what SWPL are doing about air at the mo, though I think the cost is included however they are supplying it).
OK, so this event has 10 teams per division rather than the usual 8 or 9, but is 1 or 2 extra games really worth another £20 a head game fee?

Price may seem high but rec players spread the cost between 7 players is £57.14 with this you include 600 rounds per player.
An average player at our site spends on average £50 to £80 for the day this is paint sells and does not include the deposit for day fee.
They also get all equipment, a meal free coffee all day
there will be a marshall with them all day to insure that they attend the right field and on time.

This way we are trying to attract more players into the game and as said its for rec players those who book days at site who want to play but would like to taste the tournament scene.

And if they want to bring more than seven players then fine it wont cost them any more, again they can spread the cost.

But wont be more than £45.00 a box.
£45 per box??!! Thats a bit steep, what paint is it?

Seems like a lot of money, espacially as you are holding the tournament at your own site, rather than having to rent one, as other tournaments have to do.......

Ok guys or girls the paint price has not been confermed as yet,

The cost of the tournament might seem high to you but the site will not see profit for the first year.

The fields at the moment are being prepared and all fields will have floodlights.

There will also be prizes in time at every tournament we hold this could be 20 boxes of paint, the cost of entry refunded and paint, markers, Kit, sponsership, or Cash, but as i said before this is to be arranged and will be posted.

At every tournament there will be a Trophy for each division at a cost to us of £300.00 each no tin Trophys or a piece of wood.

And we will be in talks with Hpac about air if your reading.

As it picks up and we recover the cost of setup the price will go down, if they dont the prizes will become higher.

There will be a cash prize tournament once a year as all profit will be kept and put back into the tournaments and a huge sum will be used for a main prize once a year.

And for those who are still not happy im sorry not a lot i can do im just the person who puts the info on the board.

One thing i would like to say although the M25 Tournament is great the trouble is its hardly ever down this way and mostly up north and there are hardly any tournaments up this neck of the woods.

Give us a break were trying everything we can to keep the cost down but its not easy.

And all the packs that will be sent out will have detailed maps on how to get to our site and of each field so you will have layouts on each field before you get to the tournaments and the positions of the barricades..

Any more info call 07956066603 ask for Karl.
