hey everyone!

i am a 16 year old Canadian baller who just moved to the UK with my dad, things are very different ove here but i like it! i grabbed this forum link from PBNation.

ive been playing for 5 years and i wanted to get into the competitive side of things over here in terms of paintball. I am located in Hornby, Lancaster, England and can make some drives up to various fields, this entire country is a drive away! I was wondering about tournaments and player in my area (Lancashire) and about any fields that maybe have a walk on day during the week, i cant seem to find one.

I was also looking at the prices of the high end markers here (i couldnt bring my last marker with me due to customs) and they are really expensive in terms of prices im used to after i convert the prices (£1 = $2.50) so i may be using the classifieds in a few days time!

just thought id say hi (i couldnt find another section to do it in) and i hope to fit into this forum (and country!) well.

kindest regards,

Make if your new to the forum ask some Plat members for advice on buying guns or one of the mods like Robbo or Beaker. There have been a few tossers scamming people on here and don't want a newbie to forum messed around. 99 percent the guys on here honest and will help and time they can. Welcome to the UK by the way. You have posted in rec ball section and this is mainly woodland games. So just give a pointer on what kind of ball you like mate.

The Northern Quarter will begood for you if your into air, or try www.nationalpaintballclub.co.uk for woods.

Hope this helps a little.

thanks!

sorry for posting in the woodland section but where i come from rec ball means speedball, so many changes :(

I am into speedball games a lot and i am a center-back player. I am looking for an ego or a high end shocker.

i have mainly been looking at fields in Preston.

And to think, most of those markers are actually made over here!

I loved your "this whole country is a drive away" :D. You'd be suprised how many UK'ers bitch about having to go over 50 miles!

Anyway, welcome to the UK (and the best bit - the North West ;)).

and if you need any help on getting a marker ask away, theres some very good traders on here and if you want a high end shocker you've only got to ask me :D

guys like Lump ,Renton C, FLy ,Skeet are 100% trustworthy but as stated there have been some scammers on here as of late so I would only use the big hitters in the feedback forum just now :)

welcome to the boards ,loving the driving attitude ,we as a team have to drive hundreds of miles for every event and some in the UK wont go unless its at the end of there street ..

lol, welcome to the forums - like most, love the no sh*t attitude towards driving, though you have to be 17 to drive in the UK, so might be worth bearing that in mind ;)

if you're willing to travel north, south, east or west, if you do your research then you'll find somewhere. paintball's picking up speed now in the UK so there'll always be a place for you to play at.

good forums here, i've seen nothing but good support and help from peeps and i'm as new to these fourms as you. cheers.
