New to the site, Next marker help

Hello all
I have a tippmann A5 modded to look like a M4, and have now done 5 walk ons
I'm really starting to get in to it and want to play more maybe join a team.
In doing the walk ons i've noticed my marker is not very competitive, and i got the cance to borrow a compotion style marker the other day and loved it.
I'm now looking to buy a marker with about £350 i dont mind second hand.
So what would be a good one to go for?

Ego 9 or geo eclipse = reliable

what is the differance in the Ego numbers? is it just the year so some small improvemants or are they differant markers all together?

The number in the EGO's represent the year, but there are differences in the markers yes, whether it be cosmetic to lighten the gun, the efficiency , the board modes etc.

So for me then a EGO with as high a number as i can afford on the second hand market is a good way to go.

indeed, i reckon a ego9 is the best way to go mate

If your not bothered about that military look, you should go with those above but if you still want a milsim look sort of gun, you could try a TM7 or a TM15 as they are just a tournament gun (invert mini) on the inside but look like MP7's and HK416's on the outside.
