I have about a year of tourney experience, but my team broke up and I'm looking for a new one. I'm going to be trying out for several teams but I've never been to a tryout before -- what can I expect it to maybe be like? If anybody who's been to one before could tell me a little bit about what they're like I'd appreciate it. Thanks. :)

Not sure if any of you remember me, I used to post a lot here when the boards were relatively new. I was a newbie then, didn't even own my own gun but I really learned a lot from browsing these forums. I got some good advice and I've come a long way since then.

Also, I finally got a subscription to PGI after just being cheap and buying back issues for $1 each from Warped Sportz for the past year. I've tried every paintball magazine out there and it really is the best. Props to the PGI staff.

Most team tryouts are going to look for two things - paintball skills and chemistry with the team. Just play your game (don't worry about showing off your bunkering skills every game) and try to get along with the players. If you're any good, you should do fine.

Oops, just realized I posted this in the Announcements forum. If a mod could move this to the appropriate forum (Speak your brains?) I'd appreciate it.
