I don't suppose anyone in the sussex area would be interested in trying to start a site? I though of buying some land and putting up some signs to close it off to the public and having a walk-on only field with your own paint if you have any! All you'd need is a few burnt out hulls of cars or ones that aren't road worthy and are going to be scrapped, then dig some bunkers and create a few baracades and see how it goes.

There is nothing around here thats close to where I live. Holbush is only in crawley admittadly but it's still a 20min drive in good conditions! Brighton used to have a warehouse but it closed down so now there is nothing!

If anyone has info on who to talk to about this sort of thing then it would be appreciated.

Cheers

First thing mate...Burnt out cars are lethal..when they burn...cyanide residue is released from some of the rubber and plastic materials and will remain there for some time...also looks ****e.
unroadworthy cars also look ****e..and will encourage people to dump cars on your site.
Use pallets or something if you cant afford SupAir...tho you can get these cheapish secondhand.
if your buying land mate...how you going to make/re-coup your money with BYO paint?
Also...if you do get any land, check it for public rights of way...coz you cant block these off.
Check you have room for parking...you need a secure lockup, some shelter of sorts....public liability insurance, employee insurance as well as insurance for any kit you may have.....
Then depending on the size of the site..how you gonna fence it all off?
Just some things to think about matey...sounds good tho...make it nearer the Kent side of susex tho wont you mate!!

Well I'm supposed to say it so...

It would be a good idea to contact the UKPSF before even thinking about setting up a site.

The Federation has a lot of literature available relating to all facets of paintball plus we can steer you towards recommended Insurance companies etc

Site management is not my personal field of expertise but our Chairman Steve Bull (Bully) really knows his stuff and he's very approachable
