New shaft FR back stuck

I have a new shafts FR back and the 'collar' part is stuck on my barrel tip.
It's not very big which is making it difficult to grip...
Anyone else had this problem?

Use a spanner on the part where the threads flatten out to get it loose. And in future, just finger tight

Should have greased it first also, such a rookie.
Hands are shredded :/

I also put a bit of PE grease on the threads/o ring. Really small amount.

But as above.
