New Self Service Filling Station

[H-PAC SERVICES LTD]

Hi, does anyone have any comments regarding the new filling station used at wrexham last weekend, good or bad, it eliminated the queues and everyone i spoke to liked it, were at uttoxeter with the same panel this weekend to give it another thrashing.

no bottles in site just a set of hoses and valves
very neat

You connect to the hose, open the valve until it cuts off at the stated pressure, shut it and pull the valve to vent the line.
You would have to be a complete muppet not to be able to work it.
The other advantage is that nobody seemed to be waiting in line.

Does it also mean you get around the DOT bottle thing cos you aren't filling it but the players are?!?!

No
bottles where checked and a rep was at hand at all times
You are using a commercial fill rig even if it is unattended, therefore it is still illegal to fill DOT bottles at this rig

Yes, it was fantastic. The H-PAC chaps always have a smile on their face as well!

As long as there is always an HPAC rep on hand it seems like the way to go. I'd hate to think about what might happen if someone mistakenly connected a 3000 bottle upto a 4500 connector
