I've been playing for about a year now, and play for the Royal Dutch Buddha Bandits. I recently ordered myself a Black Magic Cocker, because I wanted a more competitive marker.
My question though, is this: Is it a smart thing for a fairly inexperienced player such as myself (I've played one tourney sofar) to have a marker wich was made on another planet?

Pleeze, let me know.

I'll say....

You're one funny fat ass hamster, Buddha 5!

Don't tell you're about do get doubts about your equipment. Your old paintgun (which you should still bring along as backup) was giving you more problems than any monogamous relationship, so the better (read: more reliable) the tool you work with, the more enjoyable your game will be.

Just my opinion.

inferno's right, cockers are cool until you mess with them, the rule "if it aint broke dont fix it" strictly applies. I used to own an eclipse cocker and the only maintenance i ever did was to oil the bolt, i never had any problems with it.
The only prob you may find to begin with is the trigger, until you get used of the trigger you may find you chop balls, but give it a bit of practise and youll be fine, have fun...

da matski.
