New player wanting to commit

Hi all....long time lurker here.....

Like most new players, I've done paintball days with mates and after my most recent outing decided to see if I can get involved in something more regular and hopefully competitive.

Are there any London teams open to new players ( with no kit ) but who would be willing to train /purchase necessary gear ? I guess it's a risk but if you don't ask.....

Have you tried watching speedball on youtube?

It might help you make a decision if you like the top end of the sport? Big expenditure getting into the sport, so its deffo worth watching some videos if you havent already,

Hi Ed,

I am currently running a new squad with London Samurai who are potentially looking for another player to join their team.
We are practicing in March with plans to play in the Southern Paintball League from April onwards so if you are interested, you are certainly welcome and we can introduce you to the tournament side of Paintball and give you some guidance for a new starter.

If it helps at all, we practice and play at Bricketwood Paintball Centre (Postcode AL2 3TF) so that may help you decide if it's convenient for you to get to as well
