Hi, i've just started playing paintball and own my own kit. I'm looking to play around the north east either as part of a team or on walk-on days!

Universal Paintball Newcastle is a great site to get started at, theres always someone friendly to turn to (don't get put off with the muscles, there really fairies underneath all that). The newcastle site is really well kept, and has a nice setup. This is where the woods all happens.

This is where my roots are, there used to be weekly 3man tournies every wends night, but you'll have to ask to see whats happening. Located in the Cowtons in Darlington.
Really good atmosphere, will get you out of the house and out and about! Fantastic place to start sup'air to get you off your feet!

As for a team, turn up on the day, and people will let you play with them, if you like em, ask to see if you can join them.

NSPA is based in East Cowton N.Yorks, near darlington

I also started at NSPA pretty much the same time as shimmer shot (great guy)
never been to the universal site but alot of the guys come down to nspa from there.
I guess its whether you are looking to play the woods game or the sup-air.
Universal will be closer to you so would be a good first call but you can't beat the 3 man at nspa
