There is some MilSim paintball in the UK

This is more of a 'speedballer' forum aimed at the 'competitive sport' side of paintball, UKScenario is about storyline based events, and these can touch a little nearer to MilSim (Scenario and woodsball are often incorrecty quoted as MilSim).
There is at least one MilSim dedicated forum in the UK but I cant spot it at the moment
To answer your question - possibly. In the scenario scene we have been going into more specialised events, however whether it is viable as a business depends on regularly getting customers. Airsoft has pretty much cornered this market

NPF also do miltac events too, trouble is the people who do have their own gear, 90% of their guns wont work with mag fed, and the tacamo mag fed conversions arent cheap either, but most importantly, these guys just wanna spray paint! Lol, good luck with it tho!
If it's something really close-quarters, then I reckon it might have a chance of success. Do a CQB/hostage rescue/attack the terrorists thing and it should be good fun.
yes i do agree on the close-quarter combat.
we are going to build a street with 10 simulated building with small rooms for team clearing
.and house to house combat, we will be puting some cars in the street for a ambush game,
we have open land and a very wooded area and a small hill which we are building a pillbox
which we will be mounting a rap4 30cal which will be abale to cover the hole street.

This site was going to be in surrey but the land has fallen through,so it will be in cambridgeshire now as the land is a lot cheaper,It will hopfully open in the new year lots of work to do. at the moment you will be able to bring your own markers in,

This concept sounds exciting, it will appeal to people without their own kit, but more so to people with, would you not consider allowing any gun in but by keeping their amo limited it does not discriminate against their own non mag fed markers? I dont see why you wouldnt, paintball is expensive thats why people have their own kit, you wouldnt get any of the regular players down who would be good embassadors for your business, just seems like your limiting your market. We paintballers travell long distances for quality venues and events, but thats only because we have our own kit, I can say I would not travell a great distance for a venue like this. Ram training, if you havnt heard of it, based in worcester, does realistic door to door ex army training with paintball guns, which is right on my door step, I, any many others near by, have not been, because its too expensive and they dont let you bring your own kit in. if you want to appeal to as many people as possible, then you will have to allow for a greater diversification in equipment, events, etc. I do look forward to it opening, but like I say, if I cant take my gun there, I wouldnt be getting out of bed for it on a sunday
i will take all your comments on board as being ex military i am trying to make it as real as it gets in real life combat,
yer i could do limited hopper for those who have got there own markers, this site is on a 6.5 acers and we are trying to
have only a maximum of about 30 player and the intrest im having i could have been booked up for the next three months
