Hey guys,
I am a thinking about taking paintball up when I move down to Reading at the end of this month. Can anyone give me any good advice on how to start off?

Most important I am looking for where to go, who to go with (teams etc) and how to get into the more competative stuff too.

Thanks in advance.

1) You'll be living right next to Weekend Warrior in Reading. Play walk-ons the first Sunday of the month (April 3rd) and ask the guys playing the same question. Rent first, then get an idea of what to do next.
2) "Competitive Stuff" is relevant to your budget.
3) Figure out what kind of paintball (rec-ball vs sup-air) you want to play first, then figure out how to join a team. In fact, figure out what those two things mean first.

If you have the guts to go out to April 3rd by yourself, rent a gun, and ask guys how to get into the game, then you'll be fine.

Good Luck

Try skirmish Bristol. The walkon is on the first sunday of every month and alot of teams train there. It is £45 inc 2000 paintballs and if you go every month (become a regular) it costs £30 per month inc 2000 balls :0)
