New Nexus Player !

I just wanted to make it official. Leigh Diggard who joined the Nexus Feeder Team (Nexus Eclipse) early this year has been promoted to the first time affect immediately.

Leigh was a natural point player but was taken onto Nexus as a back player as Robbo and the rest of the Nexus squad noticed something special. With Mark Toye retiring Nexus needed a new body to fill Mark's boots. Leigh has been training hard and deserves the chance to prove himself in the first squad. Leigh lives in Guernsey but is still committed to training and tournaments 100%. Leigh played on the back line last weekend for Nexus at the Series 2004 event in which Nexus took first place Leigh Said "It's the first thing I have ever won anything, this year is going to be great"

Now Nicky T is different, he can't drink, neither can Robo.

Jack, Ju and Ledz are tried and tested natural performers. Chrissy drinks much and gets toasted and Jamie and Tommy are pretty solid. Bow USED to be crap but he's practised hard and these days keeps up with the pace pretty well.

So don't start casting aspersions round here young man!!!!

How about a national team drinking contest then? Mind you, we would be in a terrible position, me and Latham dont drink, Kyle is underage, Robbo 'Frodo Baggins' drinks only the finest ale from the Shire from shot glasses and cant see over tha bar anyway, Al and Skidder cant drink without being sick, Clint and Dan and the other guys on the team are to embarrassed to be seen with Frodo.

National contest? Sharks win - Tony ten-bellies and Billy can both do 23 pints of wifebeater without any visible signs of drunkeness.

Ledz and Jack are crap drinkers. The Banzais always tried hard but were lightweights. It was always between the Turks and the Sharks and still would be...

(obviously I do not include myself in this as I am only marginally better than Ledz and Jack. I.E. A lightweight)
