any way i went paintballing last week at manchester paintball arena i have never had such a rush in my entire life :O

its something i would love to do but seen as im a noob i dont really have a clue.

i was looking at buying This just to start me off and obviously buy the protection ect...

seen as im only 17 and in college i dont have much income so i dont have a masssive budget :/

i would love it if any team from manchester wouldnt mind "giving me a hand" just showing me the ropes abit

well all i would say to you fella is get yourself down to 1 of the northern quarter newbie training day next 1 is sat 13th june if you aint already seen ;), ask the lads down there all questions you have im sure its the lads that play for the firm that train them but they are a great set of lads, you can even ask if you can get a shot of their gear best part/if not all of them will say yes to you, you may even see some tops/pants you like. ask them about padding what they find best/comfy/most padded. you may even find a few lads in the same boat as you looking to start a new team up :D

hope that helps you out a bit mate either way i would say pop down it will be a canny day out at the least.

Ahoy,

I'd steer clear of the marker you pasted, if you can jump your budget for the marker up to a nice round 100 quid, you can get a nice starter marker on here in the classified forums. It's hard working out what's good and what's not when you're buying your first bits of gear, but here's a starting tip, Viewloader markers are awful, but don't discount their hoppers/loaders - most of them are great ;)

Just taking a look on the first couple of pages in the for sale forum, we have this and this. Both pretty awesome markers, perhaps the latter isn't the best starter marker, but the point is, you can do so much better for the money than the VL marker you pasted... ask around here, people are so helpful and willing to help around here you'll find a great deal in no time, same goes for mask and other gear :)

i was also looking at an ex site tippmann 98 or the BT4 Combat markers and read some pretty decent reviews on them from different websites
