its really all about preference with markers get used to the marker, get a feel for how it works and after a while find out what you wish to improve on then u can get help on more specific upgrades but i guess if rof is your thing then cant hurt for a blackheart or virtue board and for accuracy a barrel kit so you can match your paint is always a good thing

hope that helps:)

definately ,definately get a QEV for it first, then barrel ,asa, board and switch....

then sell it and buy an ego ;)

Staying warm on a sunday!
to be fair the standard board does it for me at the moment

ive got an upgraded bottom line as the stock one is a bit too long.
so go for something like a check it or some form of on/off with a purger on

then get an upgraded barrel

simple as!

then you'll be rocking with the rest of them

i had mine set up like that for 7 months until my trigger broke so i installed a new one! lol!

if you want a good asa you should get and eclipse on/off purge but be quick there not making them anymore!

you need a new board (T-Board), Barrel (U/L or freak), feedneck (Q lock).

Yay my 100th post!!!!!!!

Get a new ASA first, the stock one is terrible and prone to shaving off, and if the shavings get further into your marker it will bugger it up big time.

After that a new barrel wouldn't hurt, neither could a clamping feedneck or QEV.

Over and above that nothing is essential but anything on the ion can be upgraded: trigger, board, breech, body kit, frame, regulator, bolt, the on/off button, you can even put a membrane pad on the board aswell.

Come to think of it, it wouldn't be too hard to build one from the ground up with 'aftermarket' parts, has anyone got a .pdf copy of the manual?
