I have been playing pb for about 2 yrs now. I am currently using a spyder e-99 and I was thinking about getting a autococker. I was just wondering what would be a good cocker for a first. Money isnt really a problem but I would rather not spend to much. Any suggestions? thanks

Think a NightKast would suit you down to the ground if you are buying new, 2nd hand eclipse factory and even Nexus Mk 1 cockers will be on the market when the Nexus II is released at Huntingdon beach. You could get a bargain deal in a couple of weeks when all the marker tarts decide to upgrade to the new model

An e-cocker is a good choice, but you say you don't want to spend too much, so are you talking about buying a mechanical cocker? if so, you'd be far better off buying something like an Angel LCD, or a bushmaster etc. To compete you really do need an electro now (it IS possible to compete with a mech, but it is far harder).

Belsales currently have basic WGP factory cockers at £275. Get a second (slight anodising defect) E-blade frame from Planet for £200 and you have a competitive gun with a rewarding upgrade path for under £500. Result.

I spose I could turn round and say that Timmys are jumped up spyders, and cant really be upgraded in the same way as a cocker...but, I think its up to the individual to try whatever they think they can afford, weigh up the pro's and cons....then buy a cocker anyway....!
Have a fiddle with lots of markers if you can.....but remember you always get more for your money when you buy secondhand
