Ok so next month i should have arround £450 to spend on a new gun, unless i sell some bits, but would rather limit myself to £450 since im saving for a holiday aswell.

Ill be the first to admit im not big on guns and just want something i can pull out my kit bag, knock it on and not have to worry about it all day.

Ive been arround for about 8 years and think its pretty safe to say that my ego 05 back in the day was the most reliable ive had.

I quite like geos and have noticed they are in my price rage thereabouts, but what does everyone else think?

My team will be playing UK masters so would need something capable of being capped to 12bps and with ramping. (I have a shocker NXT with blackheart board which you cant do without messing with dwell and i just cant be bothered)

So any help would be much appreciated, appologies for being a numpty haha

Sounds as though you might like an Ego 9 matey. Right around your price range if not a little under.

Go with an eclipse gun, whether its a Geo or an Ego 9 or earlier it's hard to go wrong. As to if you'll prefer a Geo or Ego it's ultimately down to personal preference, spool valve or poppet. Each has a somewhat different 'feel' and the only way of making a good decision is to try them for yourself.

Jamie if you wanna try out some planet markers just let me know on Sunday at training.

I think between my guys we have all the Ego's from 6 to 10 and a Geo.

If you've got on well with an ego in the past, I'd stick with the same line. You can afford an 09 for that budget - tho' personally I might consider an 08 or 07 and spend the change on training?

You can pick up a dm9 for around £400 to £500 depending on its condition being a spool it’s pretty quiet and very smooth to shoot.
