You made need to drop a little how to guide into a forum somewhere, to illustrate the difference between thanks, for example are thanks appropraite when buying goods, or is that what feedback is for...

What about allowing thanks to people other than thread creator.

For example, most of my thread starts other than sale threads, have been looking for adice. I would have thaught a nice gesture to give a little 'thanks' to the people willing to take time out their day to help other ballers.
