Hello, baught one of the new empire minis off here second hand but 'barely' used, but when it came the trigger activation point seemed to be really far back compared to my old minis, so much so that the activation screw would
Catch on ure finger because it was poking out of the trigger. I took the trigger out to find the magnet was tight against the trigger. So, put it back in, started turning the screw to bring the activation point away from the frame, but about quarter of a turn it started registering a trigger pull without pulling the trigger. I detest the mini trigger and baught an aftermarket one second hand from here and hoped it would cure it. It didnt, while trying to get it to work i screwed it down so tight the magnet head popped off the screw, now i am angry and in need of a activation point screw with magnet unless i can get some superglue and stik it together again.
Like i said ive previously owned a mini so know that this isnt normal, has anyone else experienced this? Or am i doing something stupid and not realising? Cheers ma darlins. X

If a different trigger needs that adjustment screw a long way out too, then I would look inside the body to check positions of components, doesn't sound right to me.
Try asking Bolter for advice on the forum.

Wel lukily my new trigger is made of derlin. ive just savaged the top of the trigger with a stanley to allow the magnet to sit lower against it, it seems to have cured it, giving me a wider range of activation point. But seing as ive reduced the thickness of the trigger holding the screw in im not sure how long it will be until it snaps. So im still curious as to why the magnet needs to sit so low... Its asif the well that the magnet needs to clear is deeper than it used to be... X
