New eclipse D.A.R.T. bolt for the ego.

Has any one tryed this bolt, I got one the other day and before I pass judgement I wanted to ask other people what the thought.

I'm using a Shaft two piece barrel with the right size bore and all I get is breaks every 10 shots or so.

Although It was shreading detents like I munch toffie's This was only part of the problem because even when they was not chewing em it still got breaks.

Not paint either as the paint was power ball pro and its been good and consistant for all the other guys using timmy's, cockers and dm's

Quite possibly your hopper could be doing damage. The halo might be squeezing balls down the tube too fast, so turn the board down from 35 BPS (you know its on that setting ) to about 18, and see if that helps the chopping. Although, Im sure Eclipse will insist its the bolt, and that you buy a new one.

Yeah mate I've had the ego since there uk release and have been through all the teathing probs before the the modded bolt came out. The empire was putting to much preasure on the stackYes full speed, But we slowed em down), detent to soft and bolt pearcing the next ball.

But it ain't that I've been using it with the new detents and bolt since they came out and its been fine, even has the new soft ware.

then the new D.A.R.T. venturi bolt came out and I thought i'd try it.

But like I say cheers for trying to help.

have you taken the bolt out and put the origional one back in, use the same hopper / barrell / and batch of paint, if the problem goes then id say it the bolt if not then consider previous posts and or perhaps a dodgy batch of paint maybe ??? i know you said it goes through the other guys guns, but that dunt mean a thing EVERY gun is an indevidual they are all setup slightly different, different hoppers, different amount of battery life left in guns and hoppers.....the list goes on my friendlike i say try the above it may eliminate many questions you may be asking ureself dude, if you are no further forward, come back and we will try summit else bro

I have used the dart bolt for quite some time and have had no probs at all
Could be that you have duff batch of detents
go though Richies list of stuff to.

You've used it for some time are you sure, its only just come out the one with the venturi style tip.

Your not confusing it with the modded bolt with the shamfer and detent grooves.

It's not detents and it aint paint my mate had the same batch of both i.e. we both had ego's, both had same settings and same detents and paint.

My empire has always been set at a lower speed since the last probs.

You lucky guys who get kit first hand lol .

So what hoppers and paint are you using. Are you on the new soft ware to(silly question lol) and what setting is yours on, if you don't mind me askin.

We have a real mix of hoppers ranging from Halo with standard & V35 boards, Empire Reloaders with most on setting 2 and the odd one or two on 3) and a few Eggy's with the both standard & go faster boards.

Paint wise, well we are fortunate enough to be shooting paint from Powerball. It is very very consistent and breaks on impact, not in the marker. There are a lot of teams out there shooting this stuff ranging from the Natwest League that Syd runs to some in the PA also. Not sure about the other leagues as I dont attend them.

Currently there are only three people on the team with Ego's but that is due to change sometime soon and yes we all have the new software and grips etc.

Settings - everything is stock other than trigger which is person specific as some prefer heavier pulls to others!!!
