The older I Frames were not designed for the new cricket style boards

Hypersport works have addressed this with newer frames that came out last August

So yes John at HSW sorted it - mail them if you arent sure - they're real nice guys.

Hope this helps

well i have an older style iframe with the latest cricket board in it and it works SWEEEEEEEET!

think the prob was to do with the mounting of the small speaker/beeper thingie on the board stopping the board fitting into the iframe....simple solution....find somone who is confident at soldering, take off the beeper thingie and put it onto a pair of short leads and bung it into the battery space, plenty of room and works fine :)

mine was done when i got it so im guessing this is the case, haveing looked at mine....ask paul collier as im sure it was him that eather did mine or will know who did it for him, could have been nick t of nexus as it was his marker once too

only thin different in the v1 and v2 i-frames is the place for the speaker that makes noice in the cricket board!

so if you can live without that noice you can just snap the speaker of and buy either one...or the just reattach the speaker to some other place inside the frame with wires...

I have an I-frame (V2) and the cricket board with the blue flashing light, and there were no problems fitting them together (all new as of September 2002).
