new barrel ?

hi all after the banana shot thread i put on i asked about a new barrel at a local pb shop he said not to bother cos my marker is only a low end marker (spyder xtra) and i wont see a difference, does this sound right ? or is he blowing smoke up my jacksey. only been doing it a few weeks so didnt want to spend loads to start off so went for a low end marker !!

i would say a new barrel would help quite a bit over your standard spyder barrel.

what thread does your spyder take?

i would, all depends if you plan to upgrade your marker soon, or if you are keeping it for awhile

na mate he was right, getting a descent barrel for your marker will set you back more than the price of the gun. so what and see if yu get into it more. then get a better marker

yeah maybe, any ideas on what to go for if i did go for a new marker ? i play in woodland all the time, seen some daft prices about go easy on me lol
