Okay, not sure if this has been discussed before, if it has i apologise, however here we go.

http://www.predatorgames.com/

Save your money and your paint for the real games, and practice daily with The Predator the worlds first infrared paintball barrel system.
Im really interested in knowing what other people think of this invention, bad or good, or just plain silly.

If its good, how comes? and the same deal for if you think its bad, how comes?

discuss! :)

My thoughts are whilst its a novel idea, it would clearly not generate the adrenaline needed to sustain the enthusiasm for running around, even in training, though it would be good at saving money!

I think it could be very useful for practicing snapshooting, running and shooting etc without paint but making it need air kind of defeats the object, as half the players I know are always short of air for practice at home. If it could be plugged into the solenoid socket on an electro I think I'd have one just for practicing in the garden, although using it for laser tag is a bit festive.

although i dont think it will replace paintballs for training or anyhing. light is alot faster and accurate than a paintball last time i cheked  so on that not i would stike it off as a no no

but great for kids or a bit of fun :D
yeah thats was what i was thinking, you know on a breakout, or trailing any running player, it would be completely unrealistic in terms of flight path, speed and with those two factors, accuracy.

i think he means like sweetspotting bunkers, down either side, to increase your accuracy

Is sweetspotting not one of the most important elements of snap shooting? for example you could get out and back into cover incredibly quickly but not hit a damn thing, if you can get out, put a shot an inch either side of the bunker, and then get back into cover, would be far better.
