New Avalanche

Considering Avalanche didn't have a great year last year, plus the "sniper incident" and LaSoya and 6 others leaving the team, do you think that Avalanche has a decent future? I read recently that Rocky was staying with Poorman, but that was after I'd already heard he left Avalanche. (Anyone know if the interview is outdated or something?) And one other guy is taking a break for school. So, if I'm up to speed that leaves only one player from last season on the team, or two if Poorman makes a comeback. Does anyone what's going on with Avalanche at this point?

It dosn't look good for Avalanche, but you've got to remember, that Ed will be looking to fill his roster with young fresh tallent, and If i remember correctly, Glen Forrester is back, and you remember what he did with Dynasty.

'Lanche may be out of the picture this year, but i wouldn't count them out for long.

Some say that one of the ex-Avalanche member will spill the beans on the World Cup incident.

If it happens (doubtfully) it will be big news...

'Lanche are dangerous

I reckon these boys will ripp some **** up this season. You gotta realise that yeah they lost most of their 'superstar' players but the guys they've taken on board, patricularly the Warped Kids, are hungry and fresh which should re-ignite the flame within Avalanche. Forster is ten times a better player/planner since he went to Dynasty AND you also gotta realise how tight some of these guys will be, Forster coached all the guys at Warped Kids who tore **** up last season and you just know he'll have brought the best players with him.

Avalanche, ones to watch this season for me. They got nothing to lose because they've already lost it all.

Avalanche should have a mix of old and new players, or experience and youth to be politically correct (wrong board for that, isn't it? :D )

With Ed, Glenn and Weasel, they have some serious experience. Add in the youth they'll get from the Warped Kidz they picked up and it should be an interesting squad to watch this year. I don't think they're finished at all.

These Warped 'kids'

Ain't that young...if Lanche get tha 17-year old guy they're after then only him and one other guy are sub-21 , the other 'kids' are 25-30! Team's average age has gotta be around tha 30-mark...not saying thass a bad thing, just let's not get too hung up on the new 'young' Avalanche.

Oh you mean like Estratigo kids? Who are all balding and in their late 30s?
Must be all the sun...

Seriously, 'Lanche are comming to Europe, in the absence of some of the other pro teams, they could do quite well.

True, true

You have got a point there actually.

Some of the guys have been playing for quite a while haven't they??

Anyway, they look young when they play, got a good game style, not unlike Dynastys actually. Avalanche are definately one to watch this season, however much they lie about their ages.

they're younger than Poorman that's for sure.
