In an effort to increase the effectiveness of our air fill station we have made some new panels,
there will be 8 self service 4500 connections and 4 x 300 psi connections,
we have invested heavily in making these panels and would like your views after the event.
1/ basicaly you connect to standard connection at the pressure reqd,
2/open fill valve slowly watching pressure gauge rise to pre set maximum fill pressure
3/ when full close the valve
4/ pull the valve handle to vent air
5/ disconnect cylinder
this means we waste less air when filling small numbers of cylinders, an operator will be in attendance so if you have problems ask and we will help.
One thing you may not be aware of is that a lot of cylinders have worn fill nipples on them and every time we fit new connections we have trouble connection them untill they bed in, please check your nipples (highly enjoyable and operators are trained in this task) and if distorted or they have burs on them replace them as as well as spoiling yor day they are dangerous if fill connection is not 100%.
anyway we will see you at Wrexham for plenty of beer.
regards
Trevor
