Right my gun arrived and came with an out of test air bottle now im dropping it off to hpac for testing next week but im all confused on how this bottle works.

The original oops (i think thats what its called under the grip) has been removed and replaced with a 4500 reg. I understand normal HP Screw bottles have a burst top so you literally screw them into the gun. But how do i disconnect this type of setup as the reg is screwed to the bottle do I just undo the plastic pipe from the push fit valve ??

Sorry for rambling on but this is exactly like my setup

Thanks for any help
Andy

the plastic pipe is called macroline, i'd presume to turn it off, you twist the knob that says "turn off" if by diconnect, you mean stop air flowing through the gun?

lol cheers i got that bit just about iv worded it all wrong tbh. Normal screw on hp bottles obviosly just unscrew form the gun for transportation, but how do i remove this type properly from the gun to take to and from games? as far as i can make out regs should only be changed by professionals, so i cant just take the bottle off the reg. So do i have to unbolt the whole unit from the gun using the 2 grub screws and take off the macroline ?? Hope that makes more sense

Get HPAC to have a look at it for you Andy mate, I've not seen that myself.

I would assume the part with the "turn off" wheel would unscrew from the reg, leaving the bottle and reg intact. But better to be safe than sorry if the bottle is out of test and have an air smith sort it for you.

To disengage the macro line from where it enters the marker there should be a silver "collar", pull that and the line in opposite directions and it should pop free with a bit of a tug...

it's an integral reg and mount, so yes, you have to take the whole thing off for transportation etc.
