i noticed when i fire my cocker, sometimes theres a popping from the air and other times theres only a clicking from the cycling, any ideas on the cause and what it SHOULD be doing?

someone told me that perhaps i need to retime it, im using an eclass.. should i really retime it? if so, should i do it manually or through the grip?

forget all that to start with, i know it sounds really daft but change the battery and use good quality batterys.
it sounds from your breif desciption that the sear solonoid isnt tripping.
once you have tried that then its eather a case of fiddling with the lpr a little to make sure that is ok then you might have to adjust the sear lug but that aint to hard eather.

if you dont feel confident doing it then get someone that is

You dont re-time Eblades!!
thats all done by the grip...if you have fiddled with the setup function within the grip..you can just set it to Factory fast med or slow....
the only way you re-time them is by altering the dwell time s and stuff...for faster firing etc...
Change your battery first as Jahlad said...as for cocking preassure...be careful...wind it back till it wont cock, then wind it in till it will, then give it an extra quarter turn in..just for good measure..if you put more than 100psi into the cocking solonoid it will fail.
Also, if you haven't I would strongly recommend RTFM!!!
