Sold this phone to KI7VGZ linlk above over a week ago now. Just got a pm off him saying he has taken the phone into Vodaphone and there saying its Black listed as Stolen. I sent him a sim free phone as im still using the sim that came with it.

Now spoken to vodaphone and they has said they would no way give me a phone as replacement that was marked as stolen. Now im not very good with phone but i thought the only phone out there that could be locked as a Iphone.

I dont want this biting me up the ass as when the phone left me it was working with a different number of sims. Ive asked the seller for the IMEI number just t o double check again with another person at vodaphone.

If anyone can shed anylight on this as im kinda stuck what to do as so far the phone is fine and the guy is trying to get a refund.

Thanks

Dusty

Same law applies here as any other second hand marketplace. From a neutral point of view we don't personally know either of you so either of you could potentially be chancing it equally both of you are just as likely to be legit.

Try sorting it between yourselves and arrange something to getthe phone unlocked. I assume you have documentation to prove your ownership of it? Receipts or delivery notes?

Vodaphone has confirmed its not black listed but now he is saying vodaphone told him on the phone there is a technical issue. ???

Didnt think they could tell you over the phone that surely they need to see it 1st. And he wants me to fix it dont have a issue and give him a refund. Doesnt make any sense

Yeah i'd be telling him no in this case. Sounds like he's messing about. Ask for references or documentation from vodafone
