I put some drops of oil through my autococker yesterday, and didn't think about what kind of oil i was using. It was the WD-40 oil which is an all-round oil for sowing-machines etc. Will this oil screw up the O-Rings on my cocker? I fired some air through it today and it seemed ok. But will it eat my o-rings?
Help apreciated!

Best to give the O-rings a clean - WD-40 is petroleum based and so will degrade rubber and plastics after a while. Magic stuff to free seized bearings and keep rust at bay, but you'd probably be better with another kind of oil - I hear cockers aren't too fussy and engine grease will do, but Gold Cup, Snake Oil and KC Trouble-free have all been mentioned as good marker oils.
