need help with max flow

hey. i bought a max flow reg off a guy on here. its all in good condition and no problems with it. just the spring cap locking screw is way too tight and stops the spring cap from turning completely. ive tryed all the allen keys in my house but cant seem to find one that fits. can anybody let me know what size it is please so i can go to b&q or something n get one.

It will be 7/64, one of those hard to find imperial keys. Engineers merchants are your best bet.

by engineer merchants im not quite 100% sure what you mean. my dad works for monarch as a plane mechanic so ill ask him if he knows anything but have you got a link or any ideas where i can go. cheers

b and q will probably have one but you may need to buy a set to get the one key you need......take the reg with ya and try the keys in the store....also dont forget that bandq will take anything back as long as the packaging isnt damaged.
they also usually have a handy guy knocking around the tools section, ask him to find what ya need, show him the reg.
if your dad is a plane mechanic then chances are he can also help...again give him the reg and smile nicely

Im assuming you mean the vert reg, if you buy a allen key set from B&Q they will have this size...
