Need help with ion grips..

Hey all i am looking for some grips for my ion.

I wondered if any of these would fit i was looking at number 13

The "Hybrid Shizzle Grips (Ego) Bad Guy" ones..will they fit an ion?

If not any grips under £15 which will make a difference?

No, ego grips have 3 screw points (2 top one bottom) ions only the 2 (one top one bottom).

You can get CK grips for the ion but SP protouch grips might be a better idea for you mate.

CK ones have been stopped AFAIK, so supplies will run out.

You need any "45 style" grips.

Be careful when you change your grips. The Hybrid ones (and I'm sure other ones) are slightly slimmer than the stock ones. This can mean that unless you shorten the screws, you could put a screw straight through your board.

very true i nearly knackered my board doin this, all u need to do though is if u have a few washers the same size as the screws put a few in the screw hole of the grip, that should stop u from doing it as long as you dont toghten the screw too hard

All the ones I have sold, now come with 4 short screws in with the grips.

Or isnt it worth changing grips?

personaly i wouldn't change for hybrids. I don't find em that compfy, they are mainy foor 'cool' value. something like protouch grips will serve you better (+ there made by smart pards so will fit the ion without screw mods) but hte stock ones are compfy enough.

there's a clue here where you should look
