need help with an early ego star frame + oops

evening guys

just got myself a early star fram for my 05 ego its the star-1

i just cant figure out how to attach the oops to it as its got dove tails on without the use of a rail and the oops hasnt got and screw holes to lock it to the dove tail

do i need a sl oops?
any ideas il do pics tomorrow if that helps

Grub screws fit into the frame itself

Slide the OOPS on and tighten them up

so through the holes in the bottom where the battery recess is?

so take the board out screw them right down then screw in from the sides sound right?

If its a star frame then the dovetail should be machined on the bottom of the frame, no need for the rail, i'll put some pics up when i get home in an hour or so

Yes screw down the grub screws from inside the frame.

yeah its got the machined dove tail on the bottom

im still at a loss of how to get the gub screws down through the frame and contacting the ooopsas the top of the holes at the base of the frame arnt threaded all the way up

if you stick an allen key into the grub screws from above (inside the frame looking down at the asa)and screw them down so that they contact the asa..i think its clockwise, they should stick out the bottom of the frame if the asa isnt on it .

The grub screws should already be inside the frame...
