need help - silver bullet

hey guys my mate has a silver bullet an has been told that the valve on the tank was american and wouldn't work with filling rigs over here - does any1 know what he needs to do to be able to use his marker - is there an adapter or will the tank and gun need replacement valves???

If you mean teh fill nipple. if its a N2 or Air tank...then it may have a 1/4 BSP fitting (larger) rather than teh 1/8th BSP we use...you can get an adapter.
But if its an american bottle, you cant use it here anyway.

yeah it's an american tank so i guess that means he needs a new tank but the issue then is will the gun need anything - he only left me with his tank so don't know what the guns like was wondering if any1 else had ever used 1 or knew of some1 who had??

To be honest..Silver Bullet...sounds like some sort of sex aid, but there you go.
The ASA (bit teh bottle goes in) should be a standard thread mate.

As said above..
The gun shouldb be fine, The only real differences between yank guns and ours is that theres sometimes have fully auto boards, thats about it..

As for the Bottle, If its yank, it might be a Dot Bottle instead of a Pi approved bottle, in whitch case, no site here in the UK will fill it for you,
Your only alternative is to fill it from your own dive bottle..
