Need help replacing macro hose...

Changed the stock ASA on my ion to a CP on/off and now the hose is too long. How do I remove the hose from the elbow? Do I need new elbows?

Also any good way to set about cutting the hose?

Also... any tips on how to remove the reg? The reg cover just spins around it ;/... Tighten my grip?

To remove the line from the elbow, hold the elbow and pull away from the line while pulling the line away from the elbow....


make sure you start by pulling the little collar down on the elbow before you start pulling on the line


To cut it use sharp stanley knife, but be carefull

i know this sounds daft, but make sure your going the right way...

and yes the do require a tight grip

try using pliers or a spanner to get a grip on the collar, & hold the macroline & pull your arms really hard apart & it should pop out. Some are relatively easy to get out but some are a b!@tch & really annoyingly hard.

it took me ages to change the macro line on my bottom line for my matrix, make SURE when you cut it, you leave PLENTY of extra length on there tho so that it fits allllll the way into the clasp as otherwise it will just p!ss out air everywhere, be sure to cut the hosing carefully as well as it needs to form a decent seal.

before cutting it dip it in hot/boiling water! nice clean cut! the amount of times i've seen a leak/mess because of dodgy macroline!
