You could get a flatline or a raptor system, they're not as expensive as other adj. reg HPA systems. Any 88 4500 is going to be pricy, and one with an adjustable reg will be even worse. Be prepared to spend over $350.

You can get preset Pure Energy, Center Flag or Crossfire 88/4500 systems, with the regulator, for around $200. That includes the regulator and a fibre wrapped bottle. Adjustable systems will be more like $400 including the tank and reg, but do you need an adjustable system for a tippy?

Fibre wrapped tanks are generally better, because you can get 4500psi fibre bottles, but only 3000psi steel ones. And fibre-wrapped bottles are a good deal lighter than their steel equivalents.

Look at sites like paintballgear.com in the Nitrogen Systems section, and the preset systems you see for around $200 should be all you need.

Almost all markers that work at lowere pressures have vertical regulators anyway, which are quite happy when fed from a preset tank reg. There aren't that many high pressure regulators that can be trusted to maintain enugh consistency to directly supply low pressure air to a marker anyway, which is why most people have a dual-reg setup.

So, as long as the output of the primary reg is consistent, why spend more to make it adjustable since the fine adjustment is always handled on the secondary reg anyway?

Amen, brother.

Well, I don't think the tipp would need a 2nd stage reg, it's intended to run at full pressure CO2, so 800psi air works nicely. But it means you can take the same tank to your next marker, and leave the tough job of producing a nice flat low pressure output to a secondary reg.
