Need an upgrade on my vibe, any ideas?

I've just started playing paintball properly (my own gear)
bought a vibe , e-vent goggles, rotor hopper,
3k HPA tank and then the Nxe pack
all pretty standard stuff (except the hopper) , but the vibe just dosent seem to fit right , been 6 weeks since i bought it and i feel i need an upgrade.
£250 max i think
iv been given a very good deal at my local Pballgrounds of a SLG ultralight with a 4500 carbon fibre tank (i forget the make) for £245
just wondering if i can get a nice second hand one or even a new marker for near the 250
and any advice on upgrades would be good aswell
oh and i'm a woodsball player mainly , dnt like milsim too much

etek or ego 06, is what i would go for for £250, and you will most probably have some change over to get yourself a lovely 1.1 tank with some life left

say i buy an etek or ego second hand , will i need to buy any upgrades? or change of boards or wot not
just dnt want to get hold of it and find it dsnt shoot aswell as it should.

You could get a brand new Ion XE with some ups for £250.

hmm , my uncle bought an ion the same day as i bought my vibe and tbh i think its not great (personal opinion)

i do believe the ego etek and the ego 06 are tourni legal, dispite the fact that the mills bps rule has gone down to 10 bps.

what of the slg ultralight? good ? bad? not worth upgrading ?
or worth spending my money on something more?

The slg UL is a fine gun, but with 250 you can get more. I've seen second hand PM8s go for around the 240 mark, and like others have said, second hand ego05/06.
