Need Advice about a JT E-Grip 3.5 Excellerator

Hi.
I dont know a great deal about Paintball Markers as for years ive been using "cheap and nasty" markers that i can just either throw away when there naffed, or are simple enough to fix.

Recently however, im starting to take paintballing a little more seriously.

i now have a JT Excellerator E-Grip 3.5 and im running it on Airsource 4 Oz CO2 Capsules,

i want to buy a 0.8L 3000 PSI Aluminium Air Bottle with a reg on it as im told a local paintballing establishment will refill it for me if i ask nicely.

Does anyone know if i can use this system with my marker? or will i need to make any special adjustments to my marker?

Also, When re-filling an air bottle, what sort of pressure am i looking at as a minimum pressure for the bottle as i wouldnt mind getting my own compressor if the pressure requirements are low.

okay, well aslong as youve only gor a preste bottle you wont need to make any adjustment to the gun, you just screw it in as you would your co2 and go.

you will need an air compressor that goes up2 3000psi, doubt you will get one of those cheap.

Your right, high end compressors arnt cheap, even small ones...

Out of Curiosity, does anyone know what PSI CO2 runs at??

Is it about 600-800psi?

I think it is... not 100% - but thats what pressure the preset air bottles usually output to so I guess a CO2 bottle will be roughly the same.

around 850 psi.this will gradually decrease as you use the gas up in the tank.
