I would say no to the cyclone

For that you may as well get an a5/x7/phenom giving you an additional marker, or releasing your 98 to sell on

The 98 wil be fine with a gravity hopper or primo. If you want something better then a basic electro hopper

You wont need the expense of a force fed hopper. But whatever hopper instead of a feed conversion can be used with your next market

Thing is I'm new to this, have only just bought the tippmann for a bargain price.
Gravity fed will do then, you reckon? I don't needanything too fancy, just something to keep up with the response trigger.

If it were me mate, I'd buy a decent second hand hopper from someone on this forum. Second hand will be fairly priced anyway and will hopefully work good as new. You can also probably sell it for the same price you bought it if you end up upgrading to a different tippmann anyway. Or you can use it on a proper marker should you get one.

The basic gravity will be adequate but you won't get best use of the response
The primo would be better

The difference would be the shelf in the primo with less 'jams'
It depends on how you shoot & how fast

If you still have a bit of movement and the 'blow back ' force then these will agitate the hopper slightly

An electric hopper will be better, an secon hand won't break the bank

You don't need anything too fancy, and don't really need 'force fed'
But at the right price these would set you up for your next marker
