Just wanted to know what the neares site would be to the uni, whether they allow walk-ons/ have any team training days and whether there are any sup air fields there too.

no sup'air there no walk-ons ,even the site team dont train 
so good luck with that,your best bet is to goto bristol try the showtime indoor site

There's a venue listing on www.southwestpaintball.co.uk - it's just about to receive an update, but the info on there at the moment will help.
If your interested on Tuesday evening (2nd March) all the local guys are having a walk-on at Attack paintball in Newport, its indoors with a 4500psi airfill, good place to train and also does a wicked cooked breakfast
