Maybe its my fault for getting a marker and not being ready for it. I got a nasty impulse and an 88ci tank (pure energy). Of course the Nasty comes with a max flo reg. I know i got a great marker and tank but im getting lousy efficiency. I was thinking of getting a LPR like an ANS jackhammer. Would that be the right upgrade? Also would i be able to keep the Nasty tapework that is already on it? Thanks.

You want to take a look at the new designz stuff mate.
Get the Valve, bolt and hammer as they will help by lowering operating pressure. The LPR will help by lowering the bolt operating pressure. The tapeworm will have to come out as the LPR takes over the bolt feed where the tapeworm goes in. You don't need both!

Check out www.newdesignz.com for the details.

True, thats why impulses as standard eat gas! The new designz bits are all ultra light and shaped to give optimum air-flow whilst dropping pressure further.

A team mates voodoo impy used to do a 88cu tank in 1000 shots, now does 1500 ish, input pressure 100 psi, bolt pressure around 60. Doesn't kick much! :)

He's running ND bolt, valve, lpr assembly and just ordered the complete hammer assembly.
