N00B Needs Advice

Hey all

I have just brought myself a E-Rex Elite DME-03 along with 5 other friends of mine, At present we all all beginners and have been using Diablo Direct as our local supplier as they are only up the road from me.

We have been playing locally just amongst us but never at a proper site yet although we have all been before.

Any advice you could give us would be great. Also i looking at upgrading the barrel as suggested by many people, the Empire Twister Barrel i have taken a liking too but should i go with the 12" or 14" and where can i source one in the UK.

If you aren't playing at a proper site, then stop, unless one of you owns a huge amount of land........ firing them on public ground is illegal, you could be facing charges, you'll definately lose your kit.

Just find a local tourney and book up..... you'll be in the bottom division with lots of other newbie teams.
As for the barrel, everyone will give you different advice, but really, it's just down to taste. the performance difference between 12 and 14 are negligible, the shorter one is easier to move about, the longer one better to aim down and push barricades. Everyone has their preffered size (I use a 14 and switch to a 10 when up front) but using better paint will make a lot more difference than barrel length. If your whole team bought the same marker, why not get a set of each between you.then everyone gets to try them out before you all buy your own set?
But go for a tourney, there are lots about, and it's easier than you think to get into.
