My sexy new helmet... No wait! Barrel cam!

Well, my helmet cam was pretty crap really...

So, I asked Rosstheguyver to make me a barrel mount.

Crash from Rampage did a similar design, worked a treat, although when i tried it there was a slight vibration when shooting.
To combat this is i cut up a bike inner tube and used the piece between the mount and barrel to absorb the vibration.

what camera is if i may ask ? ive wanted to have a go of making one, dont know what camera to buy.

There's a couple of threads floating about on the vids and pics or 'any other product' section in the techroom

They're around the 10-12 quid mark and work great for the price. I've got one, and have played around a bit with sellotaping it to my barrel. Works great!

Yeah. You charge it through the USB slot, and then you get two hours battery life to film whatever you like. Then you plug it back in and watch.


You'll have to add and extra few quid onto that, as you need to buy a microSD card for it to save the video onto. I found an 8gb branded card on play for 8 quid, and it works brilliantly. I think the whole package cost me around 20 quid. Cheap enough to risk on the paintball field

yer that sound pretty good to be honset and i got a a pile of mirco sd's somewhere and yer its not worth paying 100 plus quid just to have on ball shatter lense, where did you get it from ?
