my screw is worn out and i don't know how to get it out...plz help

I have a Spyder TL PLUS, and the back screw that holds the trigger frame into the body of the gun has been worn down, so I am not able to put a screw driver in, and get out the screw. I am trying to do this so I can put on my new DYE trigger frame. Should i use plyers to get out the screw or is there a better way to fix the problem?

Not a technical answer but...

i'll probably get flamed for suggesting doing such a thing but:
Use an old screwdriver you don't mind buggering up. Carefully apply superglue or araldite to tip. Even more carefully touch screwdriver to screw. wait till it sets & unscrew 'rounded' screw using permanently attached screwdriver! However, if you're not careful you'll be in a worse state than before! Also both screw & screwdriver are now buggered! It does work though!!
