my reg is coming off the bottle and its stuck

hey guys need a little help, for some reason the regulator is coming unscrewed from bottle nipple so the bottle is stuck in my marker and wont come off, luckily there is no air in it, but help? how do i get the bottle off my marker without seperating the reg completely, or is that ok to unscrew that then unscrew the nipple from the asa, btw its a stako bottle stuck into an 06ego thanks rob

srew the bottle back onto the reg, then air it up, then unscrew the lot from the asa

You can take it apart fine, but take it to someone who knows what they are doing to have it reassembled. I believe you have to use a certain amount of torque or something to secure it together properly, and if you cross thread it and then fill it, you'll die. That or someone behind you.

means the threads on the reg cross with the thread on the bottle

so that means like its not held on properly so the bottle projects off the reg?

it will ruin the thread on 1 or the other, so yeah you would be screwed really

dont worry mate, take it to a shop that you trust, they will tell you straight, and it may only take 2 min

thanks guys, i am due to send the ego up to planet to get fixed so would they sort a problem out like that? or is it a case of taking it into lips, in north london, also was wondering do lips do services of markers in house? thanks rob
