My posts dont show up on my profile, i should have about 12 at least by now but they dont show, why .

It says i have 1 on all my posts now but i have posted about 4 times in the classefide section in the last couple of days????

Do the posts count towards anything, you know like the Green Shield stamps, collect so many and get a free IR3 or anything?

Or do they just get you the shiney stars under your name?

i think its just a representation of how long youve been on the boards, and how much you use them.
So that people can judge how important/accurate/useful something you say might be. depending on context.

No new rights or privilages, just pretty stars that some people ego-trip about having (or sulk about not having).
Billy is sort of right but be careful, there are quite a few people here who post a fair bit none of it much use. There are others who rarely post but when they do, it's well worth taking notice of. Also, new to the boards doesn't mean new to paintball! Phil Webb (Smart Parts etc) has only just joined so no stars & only a handful of posts, but I know who I listen to when it comes to Impulse teching!
I just have the typing equivalent of verbal dihorrea (sp?) so post on anything I'm interested in or can comment intellegently on. I also have a naughty habit of poking hornets nests in the very political threads!

Liz is right

The number of posts somebody has really has no regard on what they have to say. Look at me I have in excess of 900 posts and speak complete drivel most of the time.
You do find that you get a lot of new users who hammer the forums looking to get as many posts as they can within the first few weeks of joining [anybody remember sytraxz???] we can see this happeneing by checking the posts/day part in a profile.
you generally find that these users get bored after a while and fade away.
Always remeber though we are a friendley bunch of peeps and even though you might see a bit of flaming its all done in jest.

Actually do the little young-uns here still get F's in school, I heard that you just turn up and get starred A's at A level now or something. Actually reviewing some of the grammer and spelling here (not including the foreign posters whose written English is actually V.good).........
