My Gun Rips Rant

Hi guys,

Probably been said before on here but just been reading some of the for sale posts and loads have either the poster or a friend coming on saying omg this Ion rips or this PM7 rips...

Has no-one noticed yet that just about all markers will fire way over 15bps but most touraments or walk-ons are capped at that and so it really doesnt matter, and also that a gun thats rips for one person might be a really bad set up for another...

When you sell something you can only give your opinion. You're unlikely to say 'This gun rips in my opinion but you might think it's ****e so don't buy it just in case'

how many useless fake bumps do people get from someone sayin "ooh, i trained with this and this gat rips/shoots ropes/mows/make tea/wash the dog etc. it does get a bit tedious.

I take the description of 'rips' in the for sale section as the marker shooting sweet and/or is really easy to use, rather than how fast it shoots.

its easier to just write 'this gat rips' rather that 'i have seen this marker in action and it shoots really well, with easy to use features and blah, blah, blah'

but yeah, i see what your getting at.

My punt at a guess is they refer "ripping" as it shoots so fast that it rips the air around it.?
